V.A - Back Against the Wall

Bueno bueno yo sé que The Wall si bien no es el disco más amado de Pink Floyd, no podemos negar la relevancia que tuvo para el levante de la carrera de estos genios, es toda una lástima que haya sido tan vilmente comercializado (I.E: "Ud oye Pink Floyd?" - "Sí, claro los que tocan Another Brick in the Wall) aun tomando en cuenta esto y los que saben pueden afirmar que The Wall no es solamente Another Brick in the Wall, sino que está plagada de excelentes canciones como Thin Ice, The Trial y Mother... podemos pues decir que es uno de los discos más importantes de esta banda inglesa... Así que hoy les traigo Back Against the Wall un tributo producido por Billy Sherwood, quien estuvo en bandas del calibre de Yes, Chris Squire Experiment, colaborado con Toto, producido para AC/DC y muchas otros grupos más, en el que se confabula con músicos progresivos excelsos para rendir este homenaje a una de las más grandes bandas, el sonido es increible y es muy fiel al creado por Waters en otrora, sin llegar a ser una inservible copia, mas añadiendo cada músico un toque especial que hacen ver un esfuerzo y una cierta empatía por parte de los colaboradores. Y estamos hablando con músicos de la talla de Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Adrian Belew, Vinnie Colaiuta y el actor Malcolm McDowell.

This is something at other level, the only word to describe this is awesome, beautiful, enchanting, a real piece of art from Les Joyaux de la Princesse, a collection of songs from the 40's mixed with some ambient sounds, now just grac a cigarette, a mug of coffee and listen to it.

Esto es algo a otro nivel, a unica palabra para describirlo es asombroso, bello, encantador, una verdadera pieza de arte por parte de Les Joyaux de la Princesse, una colección de canciones francesas de los años 40 mezcladas con sutiles sonidos ambiente, asi que tome un cigarrillo, una taza de café y escuche.

Ephel Duath - The Painter's Palette

This is another album from the italian band Ephel Duath, this album is like their masterpiece the songs are much more structured and you can see a nice intention in everyone of them from the experimentation focus, I'm not gonna talk much about it I'll leave the qualification for you, but I can tell that this album revives the interest in the italian progressive back to the days where it was interesting.

Este es otro album de la banda italiana Ephel Duath, es por mucho su obra maestra, las canciones estan mucho mas estructuradas y tiene una buena intención desde el punto de vista de la experimentación, no voy a hablar mucho acerca de él, dejare la calificación a uds, pero si puedo decir que este disco revive el interés por el progresivo italiano, regresando a aquellas épocas donde aún tenian algo que ofrecer.

Ephel Duath - Pain Necessary to Know

This band is originary from Padova, Italy; they mix the sound of jazz, hardcorepunk, black metal and avant-garde notions, the palette of sounds is quite big, they can do better in the vocal part in my criteria, but is a great effort from this band, but they don't overpass the success in Painter's Palette (I'll talk about this album later.)
They degree of experimentation reminds me of The Mars Volta in certain occasions, but it's less ordered and something you just get lost and you don't know what you are listening to, anyways the bass lines are great, but I think they try to exceed what they were capable of. But in any sense this is not a bad album, just a little... forced

Esta banda es originaria de Podova, Italia; y pues lo que hacen es mezclar el jazz, hardcorepunk, black metal y nociones de Avant-garde, y aunque la paleta de sonidos es bastante amplia y en algunas ocasiones podría recordar a The Mars Volta, en este disco no superan lo hecho en Painter's Palette (del cual hablaré luego en otro review.)
Siento que pudieron haberse pulido más en el aspecto vocal, ya que a veces parece que canta Animal el de los Muppets y en la música muchas veces uno se extravia no en la buena forma, y aunque las líneas de bajo son muy muy buenas, creo que trataron de exceder lo que eran capaces.. y no lo lograron del todo. Pero la verdad en ningún sentido este es un mal disco talvez simplemente un poco forzado.

Ambeon - Ambeon

Well this is a well-known album, entirely sung by Astrid Van der Veen when she was only 14 years old and produced by Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) the album is pretty melodic and the lyrics are beautiful, and the performance of the young singer is just great, even when she remains at a "safety zone" regarding the tones, but her voice is beautiful, personally when one I like the most is "Lost Message" the folky tune it's just great, so please again... enjoy!

Este disco es bastante conocido, es un proyecto del conocido Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) y Astrid Van der Veen que contaba en ese tiempo con apenas 14 años, el album es bastante melódica y las letras son hermosas y el desempeño de la joven cantante es simplemente genial, aún cuando siempre se mantiene en una zona de confort en lo que a su voz concierne, sin ambargo es bella, personalmente la canción más notoria para mi es "Lost Message" con su sonido folk, así que de nuevo .... salud!

Duo Guardabarranco - Antología

This is a little different from everything I had post, this duet is from Nicaragua called Guardabarranco they play what is called the New Song, with themes about freedom and peace, the lyrics are full of poetry and good harmony, really good vibes, this album is the very best of them, the duet is formed by Kattia Cardenal and Salvador Cardenal, if you want something a little out of the common and different please serve yourself.

Esto se sale un poco de lo que he venido posteando últimamente, es un duo de Nicaragua llamado Guardabarranco (el ave nacional de Nicaragua) pertenecientes al género de la Nueva Canción, sus temas van dirigidos a la paz y la libertad, las letras están llenas de poesía y armonía, este album es la compilación de lo mejor de ellos. El grupo está formado por Katia Cardenal y Salvador Cardenal, así que disfruten porque verdaderamente vale la pena oir esto.

Nový Svêt & Ö Paradis - Entre Siempre y Jamas Suben las Mareas, Duermen las Ciudades

Some days ago I reviewed Destello de Estrellas en la Frente the second collaboration between Nový Svêt & Ö Paradis, so in honor to the music I decided to upload the first one Entre Siempre y Jamas Suben las Mareas, Duermen las Ciudades (Between Never and Always the Tides Arise and the Cities Sleep) this album at my criteria is way better than "destello..." the voices are just great, anyways Juergen Weber (Nový Svêt) is a great influence to Demian, and you can really feel the intensity of the presence of Weber, the album may be classified as Pop, or neo-folk or whatever, or like Demian himself classify it "Honest Pop." The vocal side is very well splitted in one hand we have Demian's voice, nostalgic, cold, sad, and in the other hand Weber's voice rough and eager, the instrumental side is full of nice experimentation, with some avant-garde notions, the bass lines are just great, is way more melodic than their 2nd collaboration, the album may not have the greatness of Serpiente De Luna, Serpiente De Sol but is a great piece of art, how the voices are entwined with the musical elements is just great.... Cheers!

Hace unos dias hice el review de Destello de Estrellas en la Frente la segunda colaboración entre Nový Svêt & Ö Paradis, así que en honor a la colección decidí revisar Entre Siempre y Jamas Suben las Mareas, Duermen las Ciudades, el cual a mi criterio es bastante mejor que "Destello..." las voces son sublimes, muy bien repartido ese lado ya que en un extremo tenemos a Demian con su voz sorda, nostálgica, fria, triste, casi indefensa y en el otro tenemos a Weber con su voz áspera y ansiosa, por el lado instrumental la manera en que se conectan estos con las voces es genial, casi a manera de capas de piel delicadamente superpuestas, mucho más melódico que la segunda colaboración, el disco está plagado de experimentación (algo muy común en Nový Svêt) con cierta tendencia Avant-Garde y podría ser fácilmente clasificado como Neo-folk o Post-marcial pero mejor dejémoslo, como dice el mismo Demian, en "Pop Honesto" y aunque este trabajo no llegue a ser Serpiente De Luna, Serpiente De Sol, en grandeza, es toda una obra de arte... asi que disfruten.

Nový Svêt & Ö Paradis - Destello de Estrellas en la Frente

Well it's been a while since the last time I post something, so I will post a little treat, this is a collaboration between Nový Svêt & Ö Paradis, released after Entre Siempre y Jamas Suben las Mareas, Duermen las Ciudades, the album is quite depressive and experimental, the lyrics are in spanish and sung by the head of Nový Svêt Jeurgen, while the instrumental side is played by Demian from Ö Paradis, it mixes a great quantity of acoustic elements with a heavy dose of avant-garde like electronic, it's something unusual that will satisfy the hunger from the fans of the genre, hope you like it.

Bueno ha pasado un rato desde la última vez que subí algo así que les doy algo bonito, ésta es una colaboración entre Nový Svêt & Ö Paradis, sacada luego de Entre Siempre y Jamas Suben las Mareas, Duermen las Ciudades, el albúm es bastante depresivo las letras son geniales y en un español completo, la variedad de gama entre instrumentos acústicos y ese electrónico avant-garde está muy bien logrado, espero que este disco sacie el hambre para los adeptos del género. Miranda Sex Garden - Fairytales of Slavery

OK, in the beggining this band originary from London, was a trio of madrigal singers, wiht the pass of the tome it was inevitable the experimentation, and Fairytales of Slavery is the living example of it, the cd id full of contrasts and tons of sound varieties, im comparision of their first producition Madra that was only A Capella, in here we listen a major risk in the sound, the percussion is just great, plus a great variety of new sounds, the voives are just celestial, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did...

OK, en principio esta banda originaria de Londres, era un trio de cantantes de madrigal, con el paso del tiempo fue inevitable la experimentación y Fairytales of Slavery es el vivo ejemplo de eso, el disco está lleno de contrastes, y mucha variedad de sonidos, esto contrapuesto a su primera producción Madra que era solamente canto a capella, aqui vemos una experimentación mucho mayor, las percusiones del disco son geniales, además una gran variedad de nuevos sonidos, las voces celestiales igual que siempre, espero que lo disfruten y lo gocen al igual que yo.

Inkubus Sukkubus - Wytches

This is my new recommendation it is called Wytches from this Goth rock band from UK called Inkubus Sukkubus, the album is pretty damn good and I really think that this is my favorite work from this band, it has some brilliant lyrics always sumerged into the wiccan frame present in all of their works, the music it's not the virtuosity incarnated but it's quite cool, enough with the speech go ahead and download it.

Esta es mi nueva recomendación se llama Wytches del grupo Inkubus Sukkubus del Reino Unido, el disco es bastante bueno, la verdad creo que es lo que más me gusta de este grupo de rock gótico, tiene ideas muy interesantes siempre envueltas en ese marco wiccano que caracteriza las letras de todos sus albumes, la música pues si bien no es virtuosa, deleita, que al fin y al cabo es la finalidad, Wytches, Pagan Born y Call Out my Name, que a mi parecer son las mejores canciones del disco, bueno basta de hablado disfrútenlo.

Nový Svêt - Nuevo Babylon

Well regarding this album there's not much that I can say, it's not a group that I'm very familiar with, and well I can't tell lies nor truths about it, but well at least I'm gonna give you some info. New Babylon is part of a boxset of LP's called Noi e il Mondo, and it was restricted to 100 copies, the cd is just great, adictive in fact, as the rest of the Nový Svêt's works, to honor the truth the album is not great, it's celestial, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Con referencia a este disco la verdad es que no puedo decir mucho, no es un grupo que tenga mucha tiempo de oir, y la verdad no puedo decir verdades ni mentiras acerca de ellos, pero al menos les daré unos datos de la producción de Nuevo Babylon este disco es parte de una colección llamada Noi e il mondo, y su tiraje fue restringido a 100 copias, el disco está genial, la verdad es prácticamente adictivo, como todos los demás trabajos que he podido oir de esta banda, la verdad está mejor que bueno, está celestial, muy recomendado.

Blood Axis & Les Joyaux De La Princesse - Absinthia Taetra

This cd is from two giants Les Joyeaux de la Princesse and Blood Axis, when I realized of the existence of such disc I went for it with great anxiety, but then I realized that well... it's not a bad album (believe me it's not), but shamefully not a great album neither, it just didn't satisfied my urge for listening a collaboration between such great artists, I would like to hear a more decadent ambient, more lascivious, more high, nevertheless it's a good piece of art, I like the extracts of old songs that sound like a gramophone play. Now well the vocal interpretation is entirely on the Blood Axis part, and it's mostly recitated, and it may seem that I'm burying this album it's not... on the contraire is a nice cd and worth listening to it, you just can't miss the chance of take a look of such a great combination, the concept is just great and it's a whole shame that they can't exploited in a better way.

Este disco es de dos grandes Les Joyaux de la Princesse y Blood Axis, cuando me di cuenta de la existencia de este disco la verdad es que lo busqué con gran expectativa, solo para darme cuenta que si bien no es un disco malo, tampoco sació mis ansias por ver una colaboración por parte de ambos grupos, a mi gusto le faltó talvez darle un carácter más decadente, lascivo, más "high", sin embargo es una buena obra, me gustan los extractos de canciones con ese sonido a gramófono, por otro lado la interpretación vocal corre por completo por parte de Blood Axis, la cual es mayormente recitada y no cantada, y aunque parece más bien que estoy dando por menos el disco es muy digno de oirlo, la verdad uno no puede perderse la oportunidad de oir a dos grandes como estos colaborando, el concepto del disco es muy interesante pero se hubiese podido explotar de mejor manera.

Human Drama - Cause and Effect

I think is the one of the last Human Drama's cd, a darkwave and gothic rock band from the USA, the sound of the record is just great, without a doubt their best production, it's melancholic like every other work of them, but now you can feel the special halo, so subtle, so delicious, it simply takes you away, every song carry that tragic or impossible love, the melodies and warm but lugubrious and solitaries, as if it whispers to the lyrics, it also contains a couple of covers Bang the Drum Slowly from Emmylou Harris and Dance me to the End of Love from Leonard Cohen, both performances are exquisite and are totally at the level of the original songs. Well this is a cd for spite and dedicate.

Creo que este es el penúltimo disco de Human Drama un grupo estadounidense de rock gótico y darkwave, el sonido de este disco es espectacular, es sin duda alguna su mejor obra, es melancólico como todos sus trabajos pero este agrega un hálito especial, tan tenue, tan sabroso, simplemente lo transporta a uno, todas las canciones siempre llevan ese mensaje de amor trágico o imposible, las melodias cálidas pero lúgubres, solitarias como si le susurrara un consuelo a la letra, también tiene un par de covers Bang the Drum Slowly de Emmylou Harris y Dance me to the End of Love de Leonard Cohen, ambos son perfectos y le hacen mérito a las canciones originales, en fin este disco es para despechar y dedicar.

Vintersorg - Solens Rötter

This is the last production of Andreas Sven Hedlund with the group Vintersorg (also his nickname), it is called Solens Rötter (The Origin of the Sun), in this cd we can see how Vintersorg retake its first sounds Till Fjälls-like, with that old nature feeling, with a more folk sound than in his past works like Cosmic Genesis, The Focusing Blur or Visions from the Spiral Generator, since we can hear the abundance of flutes and strings, plus some really cool acoustic guitars, the voice overpass the work in Ödemarkens Son, the best vocal work before Solens Rotter, for me it's a breath of fresh air how the group is going back to its roots, and don't misunderstand me it's not like I despise the more "cosmic" work, during this phase you can see the musical growing like in the Focusing Blur, but on the other hand the Nature work sounds so much delightful, and well don't think that this is just a remake of the Till Fjälls, in every note you can sense the experimentation. Sincerely Vintersorg is one of the few bands that didn't lost their misticism and esence thru the pass of the years and Solens Rötter is just a piece of art.

Esta es la última producción de Andreas Sven Hedlund con el grupo Vintersorg (el cual también es su alias), se llama Solens Rötter (El origen del Sol), en este disco podemos ver como Vintersorg retoma los sonidos de sus inicios más a lo Till Fjälls, una cuestión más acerca de la naturaleza con sonidos más Folk de lo que presentaba en sus anteriores propuestas como Cosmic Genesis, The Focusing Blur o Visions from the Spiral Generator, ya que abundan las cuerdas y flautas, las voces a mi criterio sobrepasan el trabajo en Ödemarkens Son, donde se encuentra la mejor demostración de voz de este tipo, la verdad para mi es una bocanada de aire fresco el ver de nuevo como se repliega a sus raices, y no es que me desagrade para nada el trabajo en el ámbito cósmico, de hecho en The Focusing Blur se puede ver un gran crecimiento en materia musical, pero a mi parecer le sienta mucho mejor esta temática de la naturaleza, sin embargo esto no es un refrito del Till Fjälls, sino que se puede oir en cada compas mucha experimentación, sinceramente Vintersorg es una de las pocas bandas que podemos decir que con el paso del tiempo no han perdido su misticismo ni su esencia y Solens Rötter es una obra de arte que sobrepasó mi expectativas.

Ataraxia - Lost Atlantis

O.K, here we go with the tenth production from the italian band Ataraxia, this record, from my tight point of view of course, it's a momentum in the whole band line of composing, we had always seen Ataraxia going from the Neo-classical to the Neo-Medieval, but this cd shows itself a little more atmospheric, escaping from this both sub-genres, same way we see that this band after 10 production hasn't lost its freshness and innovation, making good proposals for its fans, the guitars are good enough, and you can ask for more from the voices of Francesca Nicoli and Vittorio Vandelli, the vocals run from the peaceful and quiet to the schizophrenic, a very nice disc to enjoy with a coffee and a good cigarrette.

Vamos con el décimo disco de la banda italiana Ataraxia, este disco a mi parecer es una pauta entre los discos anteriores, ya que siempre hemos visto a Ataraxia andar entre los lados del Neo-clásico y el Neo-medieval, sin embargo, este disco se muestra un poco más atmosférico escapando a esas dos nominaciones, igual vemos que para tener ya 10 producciones en su haber este grupo sigue innovando y haciendo buenas propuestas, las guitarras como siempre majestuosas, a la voz de Francesa Nicoli y Vittorio Vandelli no se le puede pedir más, las voces van de lo apaciguado a lo esquizofrénico, muy buen disco para disfrutar.

Of Wand and the Moon - Nighttime nightrhymes

A gorgeous cd from this danish neo-folk band, this is the first record of the only member, Kim Larsen, there's a lot of people that don't penetrate to the world of Neo-Folk, because they consider the genre quite boring, well this cd is completely different from everything else, the acoustic guitars are just magicals, the lyrics have a whole ranging of explosive emotions and feelings, from love and loss or joy, to germanic paganism, this is not pure neo-folk, take it as an intermediate moment, more sounds and active, beautiful in every sense, the whispered voice throughout the whole cd just help to intensify the experience, it's a good deal for the people that haven't decided wether enter or not into the dark side of the folk and the martial music.

Espléndido disco de esta banda de Neo-folk, la primera composición de su único miembro Kim Larsen, hay mucha gente que no penetra en el mundo del Neo-Folk porque la experiencia se le hace aburrida, pues este no es el caso de este disco, las guitarras acústicas son geniales, las letras tienen toda una gama de sentimiento y emociones de amor, pérdida, regocijo e incluso paganismo germánico, esta experiencia no es solo neo-folk, es un momento intermedio, más movido, hermoso en todo sentido, las voces susurradas durante todo el disco solamente ayudan a intensificar la experiencia, es un excelente disco para los que no se han decidio entrar de lleno a ese lado más oscuro del folk y la música marcial, espero y lo disfruten.

Ö Paradis - Serpiente de Luna, Serpiente de Sol

Ok here we go with this brilliant album from the guys of Ö Paradis, a spanish band that focuses in the spoken word and folk genres, their sound rock, their lyrics are poem-like, even when you don't speak spanish this record deserve a nice hearing, go and look for the translations, the lyrics are awesome and the ambient enshrouds you into a dark gloomy atmosphere, the voices are great too, it's a master piece from Demian (the only member of the group) hope you find it pleasant and enjoy listening to it.

Bueno este brillante albun de la banda de un solo hombre española Ö Paradis, quien se centra en la realización de discos de género Spoken Word y Folk, su sonido es genial, las letras van enfrascadas en un hálito de poema, el ambiente que causa la música es casi onírico como si todo tuviese una capa de niebla sobre el, las melodias transgreden de los sutil a lo psicodélico en cuestion de segundos muy muy expresivas y sentidas, otra joya del señor Demian, espero que lo encuentren bastante productivo y les guste de verdad, saludos.

1200 micrograms - 1200 Mic's

Well here's another good cd, 1200 micrograms from the same name band, a really really really nice psy-trance album, all the tracks in the record relate to one kind of drug, the sounds are great, the vocal lines mentioning something about the drugs are just great, this is the real deal, one of the best psy-trance albums ever, you will not get anything better than this, it's like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with every track, be careful you may end up like a junkie after this.

Este es un muy buen trabajo del grupo de psy-trance 1200 micrograms, este disco de nombre homónimo es genial en realidad a criterio personal es el mejor disco de psy que jamás he oido, cada canción va titulada con el nombre de una droga, la música es inyectiva, y las pequeñas líneas de voces que hay son geniales, es como revivir Miedo y Asco en Las Vegas, excelente trabajo de estos músicos ingleses, ojalá y los disfruten

Here we go again with this Rasputina cd, Frustration Plantation, one of my favorites albums from this band, very amusing and very cool lyrics, the music is awesome, it's really a piece of gold, hope you enjoy it.

Este Cd del grupo Rasputina es sin duda unos de sus mejores trabajos, las letras a veces chocantes y divertidas de Melora Creager son exageradamente buenas, y el trabajo en la parte musical es majestuoso, es en verdad una joya digna de oirse, las canciones van desde una canción a capella hasta ya piezas mas pesaditas, mi favorita sería Mamma Was an Opium-Smoker, oiganlo, disfrutenlo, y váyanse en el viaje de este disco

The 1996 Cocteau Twins' production Milk & Kisses is probably one of the heaviest records they made, explosive effects and drama leaving aside the inocence contructed in the record's title, this isn't their best record but it's worth the try.

Esta producción de 1996 de la aclamada banda de Shoegaze escocesa Cocteau Twins es uno de sus trabajos más pesados, con efectos explosivos y bastante dramáticos, casi dejando de lado la inocencia que propone su título Milk & Kisses (Leche y Besos) talvez no sea su mejor album pero es muy interesante oirlo, talvez la pieza más destacable del disco sea Seekers who are Lovers, disfrútenlo, la verdad... merece oirse.

Esta es la primera producción del grupo italiano Calle della Morte en la que según ellos mismos, la intención del disco es transportarnos (especialemente los que nunca hemos andado por allá) a vivir la experiencia de Venecia, el disco es increíblemente ambiental, incluso hay un interludio en una de las canciones donde se puede oir a la gente hablando y brindando en una especie de cantina, es verdaderamente bueno, el trabajo de esos dos muchachos es genial tanto en música como en letra, pero bueno basta de hablada y gocen el disco.

Este es el nuevo material de la gente de Opeth, a mi parecer el disco está muy bien contruido, la música la verdad me remite a los años del Blackwater Park y el Still Life, al parecer el experimento con el Ghost Reveries que fue un disco mas Black no pasó a más (afortunadamente) aquí ya podemos ver el trabajo de Fredrik Åkesson, quien relevara a Peter Lindgren tras su partida, y a mi criterio pues el muchacho se defendió bien, incluso ayudando a la composición de una de las canción más suaves del disco Porcelain Heart, espero que les agrade bastante y ahí se los dejo.

A propósito la edición de lujo, pronta a salir, va a incluir unos bonustracks:

OK, here we go, this is something a little different, it's called A very scary solstice, and it's a project produced by the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, it's all about X-mas carols with different lyrics, based on the Cthulhu Mythos. It's pretty hilarious and pretty much a good option for get rid of the same old song for december.

Muy bien esta vez vamos con algo un poco mas diferente, este disco se llama A very Scary Solstice, un proyecto producido por H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society (Sociedad Histórica de H.P. Lovecraft) y se trata íntegramente acerca de villancicos con sus letras cambiadas o adaptadas a los Mitos del Cthulu, una de las fases de escrito de H.P. Lovecraft, el disco es para echarse a reír un rato, y una muy buena opción si están aburridos de las mismas canciones navideñas.

Nenia C'alladhan - Nenia C'alladhan

The not so well-known folk project of Anna Varney Cantodea, vocalist of Sopor Aeternus, and Constance Fröhling, the cd takes us away from the glommy sounds of Sopor Aeternus with more warm sounds and soft colors without losing any of the esence of Anna, certain sounds or tones reminds us of that neo-classical baroque constant in most of the Anna Varney records.

El al parecer no tan conocido proyecto folk de Anna Varney Cantodea, vocalista y mente de Sopor Aeternus & the Emsemble of Shadows, pero esta vez de la mano con Constance Fröhling, este proyecto es muy bueno es una opción razonable para alejarse talvez un poco de los sonidos tan oscuros de Sopor Aeternus, ya que nos otorga sonidos más cálidos y colores más suaves, pero eso sí sin perder esa quintaesencia de este andrógino compositor, ya que ciertos momentos del disco traen esa constante de sonidos neo-clásicos y barrocos en todos los discos de Anna Varney.

Well this is my first recomendation, the sopor aeternus creation "Dead Lovers Sarabande face 1" is just beautiful, the drone, depressive ambient, blows away your mind, with that nice and clean baroque sound, plus some well finished lyrics, vocals and the dreamy interpretation of The Sleeper of Edgar Allan Poe and a well elaborated art, dedicated to Rozz Williams, this cd is a MUST, one of the very best opus of Anna Varney and his/her ensemble of Shadows.

Bueno gente (lol) esta es mi primera recomendación, la creacion de Sopor Aeternus and the Emsemble of Shadows, Dead Lovers Sarabande face 1, la verdad a mi parecer es por mucho la mejor creación de este grupo hasta la fecha, es simplemente hermoso el ambiente oscuro, lúgubre, casi en momentos hasta nauseabundo que emana es simplemente genial, siempre destacando ese sonido barroco de la mayoría de sus composiciones, la onírica interpretación que hace del poema de Edgar Allan Poe, The Sleeper, es simplemente majestuosa, este disco es definitivamente un deber en toda galeria musical, leyendo por ahí me encontré con el hecho que es dedicado al difunto Rozz Williams, vocalista de la banda de gótico Christian Death, así que disfruten esta pieza de arte porque vale muchísimo la pena

well this is my first post what I'm going to do here is just give some critics about cd's and stuff like that and some miscellaneous data.. and obviously the link for the download, please be confident to ask for petitions or anything else, comment will be fine too.

Bueno este es mi primer post, este blog simplemente va a tratar de música, de todo un poco, ahí les daré mis impresiones del disco, no es que yo sea un catedrático en el asunto, pero para que más o menos se hagan una idea, ahí también acotaré el año, disquera, piezas todas esas cosas, y obviamente el link de descarga, también por favor con toda confianza se aceptan peticiones, comentarios, todo lo que quieran... gracias
